Crafted Gatherings
90-minute experiences designed for professional communities who want their events to actually mean something.
The math is easy:
90 minutes + 1 question + the right room = a conversation your team will still be having next week
The Problem
Most professional gatherings are forgettable.
People show up, make small talk, eat the same food, and leave. Nobody planned for connection. Nobody designed for memory. The people who ran it spent weeks organizing something that was over in two hours and gone from everyone's mind by Tuesday.
Crafted Gatherings are different. Every element - the food, the conversation, the environment, the sequence - works together to create the kind of connection that doesn't happen by accident.
The Board Room
Charcuterie + Conversation · 10–30 people
A beautifully styled board experience where the table itself becomes the conversation. Guests build, share, and talk — guided by prompts woven into the experience, not announced like a game show. The food is the permission structure. The conversation is the point.
Ideal for: Chamber events · Law firm retreats · Leadership teams · Nonprofit boards
Stir the Room
Cocktail or Mocktail Craft · 10–40 people
Guests craft their own drink alongside a guided leadership conversation. Every step of the recipe maps to a leadership principle. Nobody realizes it's happening until they're already in it. Full mocktail menu available — this experience works for every audience.
Ideal for: Corporate offsites · HR conferences · Women's leadership groups
The Early Birdies
Morning Reflection · 8–20 people
The antidote to the 7am working breakfast. Guests arrive to a beautifully set table, a thoughtfully chosen coffee or tea service, and one question waiting for them on a card. The 90 minutes unfolds entirely from that question. Deliberately slow. Deliberately human.
Ideal for: Executive peer groups · Women's leadership circles · Nonprofit leadership teams
The Experiences
Choose your format. We design the rest.
Every gathering is 90 minutes. Every gathering is fully designed. Not facilitated, not hosted, not run. Designed. The difference is felt the moment your guests walk in.
The Welcome Room
Onboarding Experience · 10–50 people
Designed for organizations welcoming new people: new employees, new members, new cohort participants. The entire experience is engineered around one feeling: you belong here. Guests leave knowing three people by name, one thing about the organization's story, and one thing they personally contributed to the room.
Ideal for: Chamber new member events · Corporate onboarding · Leadership cohorts
The Chef’s Table
Curated Dining · 8–20 people · Premium
The most intimate format. A curated meal where every course is paired with a question, a story, or a moment of reflection. No ice breakers. No name tags with fun facts. Just people, food, and the kind of talk that doesn't happen at every lunch.
Ideal for: Executive teams · Board retreats · Client appreciation · Economic development
The Long Table
Community Dinner · 20–60 people
One long table. Strangers seated intentionally; not alphabetically, not by company, not by rank. Conversation cards tucked under plates that surface one at a time. Nobody knows the cards are there until the first course arrives. The best conversations happen when people aren't trying to have them.
Ideal for: Chamber galas · Nonprofit fundraisers · Community leadership events
The Playlist Session
Music as Leadership Language · 8–25 people
Each person brings one song that represents how they lead — or how they want to. The group listens together, then talks. No presentations. No slides. Just music and the conversations that happen when someone says "this is me." More revealing than any personality assessment. More memorable than any workshop.
Ideal for: Leadership teams · Creative industries · LGBTQ+ professional groups
The Reveal
Hands-On Leadership · 10–35 people
No instructions. No template. Just materials, a prompt, and 45 minutes. What you make matters less than what you notice about how you made it. Did you start immediately or wait to see what others did? Did you ask for help or figure it out alone? Did you follow the prompt or rewrite it? The debrief is where the real work happens because how you make something is exactly how you lead.
Ideal for: L&D teams · HR conferences · Association programming · Creative industries
Signature Activation
The Birdie Bar
POP-UP NETWORKING ACTIVATION · 30–100 PEOPLE
A beautifully designed pop-up bar experience within a larger event where the bar itself becomes a conversation catalyst.
Signature drinks named after leadership concepts. Conversation napkin prompts at every station. A host moving through the room asking one question to every group encountered.
The event inside the event. People leave the main event talking about the bar.
Full cocktail and mocktail menus available.
Fully batchable, no bartender required.
The Menu:
The Care Giver
Bourbon or Seedlip · orange · honey · cardamom
"Tell me about a leader who made you feel genuinely cared for."
The Hospitality Standard
Gin or Seedlip Garden · grapefruit · basil · tonic
"What's one thing a host has done for you that you've never forgotten?"
The Permission Structure
Mezcal or smoked pineapple · lime · agave · smoked salt
"What are you waiting for permission to do?"
The Joy Strategy
Rum or pineapple · coconut water · lime · mint
"When did joy show up in your work when you weren't expecting it?"
Little Birdie
Champagne or elderflower lemonade · honey · gold shimmer
"If your leadership had a flavor — what would it be?"

How About: Gathering
How It Works
Simple By Design
Every Crafted Gathering follows the same philosophy and a refreshingly simple process.
1
Choose a format
Pick the experience that fits your group, your goal, and your setting. Not sure? Let's talk through it together.
2
We design everything
The setup, the flow, the conversation prompts, the menu, the materials. Every detail handled before anyone arrives.
3
Your guests arrive
They walk in and feel it immediately. The room was set for them. Someone thought about them before they arrived.
4
The conversation happens
Not because someone forced it. Because the experience made it inevitable. That's the difference between planned and designed.
What Type Of Investment Are We Talking Here?
Crafted Gatherings are priced based on format, group size, and what you're trying to create. A Board Room for twelve looks different from a Birdie Bar activation for a hundred. Most experiences start in the hundreds and scale from there and every single one is designed from scratch for your group.
If you have a budget in mind, tell me. We'll find the right format for it.
Ready to design something worth remembering?
Tell me about your event, your group, and what you're hoping people feel when they leave.
We'll find the right format together.
